I ordered a case of “Big Reds” last month from The Wine Society. There were two of these bottles in the case and I thought I’d open one this Sunday evening to try with some steak.
It’s smooth, and nice enough, but it’s not amazing. Hence the rating. I didn’t get much aroma-wise, and there aren’t any complex flavours that I could detect. Still, a pleasant drink for a dark November evening.
