Château Beau-Site (2016)

Even though we demolished a couple of plates of charcuterie in Bar À Vin, sometimes you need something substantial to go with wine. Especially if you’re tasting a lot of it! In Moelleuses et Persillées we treated ourselves to a large amount of Nebraskan Black Angus steak, and chose a lovely Saint-Estèphe to go with it. I can’t go on saying that every appellation in Bordeaux is my favourite, but I do like a Saint-Estèphe!

This wine was a great accompaniment to the food, and also a great wine to finish off the day! Somewhere between Ruby and Purple in appearance (it was not good light in the restaurant), with fruity primary flavours and nice signs of aging.
