the last drop

The last drop is dedicated to my study and enjoyment of wine. Plans have been formed, conversation made, and occasions have been enjoyed - all in company and over a glass of wine. Unlike any other beverage I have ever enjoyed, wine has so many facets to it when you go beyond simply uncorking it and start to understand the production process and the flavours, aromas, and sensations that they produce.

This realisation led me to start studying wine and take a WSET certification. Though I doubt I will ever attain the status of Master Sommelier, and nor probably would I want to, I use my study to help further my enjoyment. This site documents my journey.
